Former Queens player Meghan Ross is in her third year at the University of Manitoba skating for the Bisons who play out of women's division of Canada West University Athletics.

Meghan is a forward who hails from Murillo and is majoring in Arts at the U of M.
Heading into November the Bisons sit atop the six-team CWUA standings with a perfect 6-0 record
In the six league games Meghan has amassed four points on a goal and three assists.
Alumnus of the month (January)
Former Sportop Midget Queens player Brittany Francis is in her freshman year at the University of Minnesota skating for the Golden Gophers who play out of women's division of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

Brittany is a forward and recorded her first point, an assist, in a Minnesota uniform Oct. 6 against the University of Maine. She scored her first collegiate goal Oct. 13 in a 4-1 win against Minnesota State-Mankato.
She also skated for Toronto Jr. Aeros team that won back-to-back provincial titles the last two seasons.

Former Sportop Midget Queens captain Jacqueline Spring is in her freshman year at Niagara University skating for the Purple Eagles who play out of College Hockey America.

Jacqueline, who plays both forward and defense, picked up her first point in a Niagara uniform Sept. 30 against the University of New Hampshire. She scored her first collegiate goal Oct. 28 in a 2-1 win at Bemidji State.
Last season Spring led the Queens with 34 points, including 20 goals. She also garnered team MVP laurels in both 2004-05 & 2005-06.
