Thunder Bay Queens Hockey Organization

The Mallon's Play it Again Sports U18AA Queens are participating in their second road trip of the Season attending the Durham West North American Showcase. They opened their first game of the tournament against the Central York Panthers.
Brooklyn Voortman would bang home a Taylee Marks point shot to open the scoring with 8 minutes left in the first period. The teams would play a tight checking  game the next two periods. Taylee Marks and Makara Magnanua would seal the win late in the game with empty net goals. Abby Wills made some crucial saves in the 3rd period including stopping a breakaway with 4 minutes left to seal the shutout and the 3-0 victory.
Shots on goal were 16-14 for the Queens.

Next game slated tonight against the Saugeen-Maitland Lightning.
