Thunder Bay Queens game recaps Saturday from the OWHA provincials in Toronto

Midget A Qualification: Etobicoke Dolphins 1 Norcan Queens 0 – A Kristen Holm goal three minutes into the game turned out to be the decider as Etobicoke blanked the Queens thus eliminating them from further play at the provincials.

Brooke Basaraba suffered the defeat in net for Thunder Bay in the season-ending setback.

Peewee Quarter-final: North Simcoe Capitals 3 Triad Queens 0 – After defeating North Simcoe earlier in the day, Thunder Bay could not complete a repeat performance as they suffered a season-ending loss to the Capitals.

North Simcoe got their first marker late in the opening frame and added their final two in an empty net in the final seconds of regulation.

Goaltender Josee Robinson allowed the one against for the Queens who finish their run at the provincials with a 3-1 record with their only defeat coming in this contest.
