Bantam AA's Provincials End Early

MISSISSAUGA, ON — The Bantam AA’s OWHA Provincial prospects are over as they go 0-3 in their round robin matchups.

The Bantam AA Queens got a rough start to the OWHA Provincials on Friday as they took on the Whitby Wolves.

Whitby opened up a 2-0 lead in the first and added two more in the second. The Queens could not find an answer to the Wolves defence as they’d lose 4-0.

Friday night, the Bantam AAs looked to bounce back against the Aurora Panthers. Aurora took an early lead in the first but then really opened things up in the second scoring three unanswered goals. Joanna Martinsen managed a goal for the Queens but the Panthers had another three goal outburst, dropping the Queens 7-1.

On Saturday, the Queens dropped their third straight game by a score of 3-0 to the Cambridge Roadrunners, ending their chances of going onto the playoffs.
