Kendra Fortin Named to Team Ontario U18

THUNDER BAY, ON — Sportop Midget AA Queens Defence Kendra Fortin has been selected by Team Ontario to represent her province at the National Women’s Under-18 Championship being held November 3-10 in Morden/Winkler, Manitoba.

“I was out of words.” told Fortin, upon finding out she’d been selected, “I’ve been working to achieve my goal to play for my province, and hopefully one day play for my country, since I was a little girl”. The fact this this is the highest level of hockey possible for Kendra to be playing in at her age isn’t lost on her, “This is a great opportunity to not only represent Ontario but also represent the Thunder Bay Queens. I can’t thank my family and friends enough for getting me this far and can’t wait to get started!”
