Bantam As get Frosty Welcome from Fargo Freeze

FARGO, ND — The Bantam A Queens travelled East to Fargo, North Dakota to compete in the 15U Scheels Girls International Tournament and opened up the tournament against the hosts, the Fargo Freeze. 

Fargo opened the scoring but the Queens quickly met that goal with one of their own off the stick of Regan Lightbody. The Freeze would regain the lead however, taking a 2-1 lead into the first intermission. From there it was all Fargo as they scored twice in the second and added one more in the third, dropping the Queens by a score of 5-1. 

Saturday morning at 7:45am, the Queens will meet Blaine and then at 2:45pm, take on Wayzata. Sunday’s schedule is to be determined.
