Thunder Bay Queens Hockey Organization

After a busy day yesterday, the 4 Queens teams all hit the ice with morning games.  The Staal Utility U11 Queens team continued their winning ways with a convincing win over the 3-0 Elks.  The win will see the team advance to the semi-finals (opponent TBD) today at 6:00 FWFN1.  

The FatGuys U13 and U15A Queens teams were unable to advance to playoff play after defeats this morning.  The U13 team was in tough against Elks and took the loss 5-2.  Goals in the loss from Kayla Grant and Shayla Stokaluk.  The U15A team continued to struggle to find the back of the net in a loss to Neebing. 

In the Oakville "Best of the Nest" Tournament, the Strasser & Lang U15AA Queens lit the lamp against London.  The scoring that lacked in the first 2 games came through this morning, with goals from Gagnon, Brassard, Maguire-Stein, and a pair from Golding.  The team will look to get to .500 with an afternoon game with 0-2 Stoney Creek Sabres.
