U18A Halfway Motors Queens Win Second Game in Loop

Dryden Eagles travelled to Thunder Bay this weekend to participate in a loop weekend series with U18A Halfway Motors Queens, U21 Queens, and Confederation College Thunderhawks. Game 2 of the series saw U18A Halfway Motors Queens beat Dryden Eagles 1-0.  The game was well matched with each team having opportunities to bury a goal in the net during powerplays however, neither team scored in the first 2 periods.  With a powerplay in affect, at 7 seconds into the third period, Queens player, Cayla Wesley would get the puck off the faceoff and pass it to Shailyn Reguly who would slide the puck at ice level to the back of the net.  That would end the goal scoring for the game.  Alex Young would get the shutout for the U18A Halfway Motors Queens.  Next game in the series is tonight 6-730 FWFN Rink 1 where Dryden will be up against the U21 Queens team.
