Thunder Bay U18AA Sportop Queens vs Minnesota Red 

The Thunder Bay U18AA Sportop Queens played  their final  game of the weekend in the Girls High School Elite League on Sunday morning.

Minnesota Red would open the scoring three minutes into the game as they would put one past goaltender Abby Wills off of a wild goal mouth scramble.
Wills would keep her team in the game for the reminder of the first period making nine saves.

Three minutes into the second period, Olivia Brassard would tie things up at 1-1 as she stole the puck just inside her own blue line and broke away from a pack of defenders to beat the goalie on the blocker side.

Wills would again be solid making 12 saves in the second period to keep things tied.
The Queens would finally find their legs in the third period, having a number a solid scoring chances to take the lead, but the Minnesota goaltender would shut the door to make the final 1-1.

Shots favoured Minnesota Red 28-24.
