Sportop Queens finish 4-0-1 in New Hampshire

EXETER, N.H. -- The Thunder Bay Sportop midget AA Queens wrapped up play at the 2 Nations Tier 1 Elite Showcase in Exeter, N.H. with an unbeaten record after skating to a 3-3 tie in their final game Sunday vs. Team Detroit of Michigan.

Samantha Strassburger tallied twice for Thunder Bay in the draw while Emily Oleksuk notched the other.

Bronwyn Bolduc and Samantha Isbell picked up assists as the Queens finished with an impressive 4-0-1 record.

Sydney Isbell made 24 saves for her side, which outshot Detroit 37-27 overall.

The next out of town tourney for the Sportop Queens will be the CCM National Invitational tournament Oct. 18-20 in Blaine, Minn.
