Bantam AA Queens off to Edina tourney

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay bantam AA Queens will be in Edina, Minn., this weekend to compete in the 12th annual Tradition Cake Eater Classic tournament.

Game action for Thunder Bay begins Friday at noon as they take on the host Edina Green.

That will be followed by a 5:15 p.m. encounter later in the day vs. the Madison Capitols.

They will then wrap-up round robin play Saturday with a 4:15 p.m. match-up against the Hastings Raiders.

Joining the Queens in the quest for the championship in the under-15 division of the tournament will be 14 other squads that will hail from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois.
