Bantam A Queens off to Star of North tournament in Grand Rapids

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Tim Hortons bantam A Queens are off to Grand Rapids, Minn., this weekend to compete in the annual Star of the North tournament in the northern Minnesota community.

Game action for Thunder Bay begins Friday at 5:30 p.m. as they take on the Proctor-Hermantown Mirage.

Two more tilts will then await the Queens on Saturday.

They’ll start the day with a 9:10 a.m. match-up with the Alexandria Cardinals before wrapping up round robin play vs. the Lakeville Panthers at 7:30 p.m.

Further games and opponents will be determined after their first three contests.
