Bantam A Queens edged 1-0 in Star of the North finale

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. – The Thunder Bay Tim Hortons bantam A Queens wrapped up play at the Star of the North tournament in Grand Rapids, Minn., being edged by the narrowest of margins as they fell 1-0 in a shootout to the Eden Prairie Eagles.

Both goaltenders, including Thunder Bay’s Marissa Brosseau, were credited with shutouts in the contest.

Eden Prairie outshout the Queens 38-31 overall that featured a scoreless regulation and five-minute overtime.

Of the combined six attempts in extra shots, the Eagles notched the lone marker to earn the victory.

Thunder Bay wrapped up play in the tourney with a 2-2 record in the 12-team bantam A division.
