Pair of Queens’ clubs off for 3-game sets

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – A pair of Thunder Bay Queens clubs will be on the road this weekend for a couple of three-game series.

The Toppers Pizza midget A’s will be in Duluth to take on the Minnesota Revolution while the Tim Hortons bantam A side heads west to meet the Lake of the Woods Canucks.

Game action for the midget A Queens begins Friday at 6:15 p.m.

They’ll then meet Minnesota twice Saturday with face-off set for 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

All three contests vs. the Revolution will be held at Mars Lakeview Arena in Duluth.

As for the bantam A’s, they begin with Lake of the Woods Saturday at 2 p.m. before meeting them again later in the day at 7 p.m. Both of those match-ups will be held at Woodland Arena in Vermilion Bay.

The Queens and Canucks will then wrap-up the series Sunday at 11 a.m. at Dryden’s Memorial Arena.
