Peewee Queens in Centennial Super Chill

THUNDER BAY, ON — The Peewee Queens are off to Blaine, Minnesota this weekend for the Centennial Super Chill U12A tournament. This will be their first tournament of the season against the best girls teams in Minnesota. The tournament will have the #2 and # 6 ranked teams in Minnesota participating. "This will be a great test for our club and this is why we come to these tournaments," says Head Coach Dave Olenik, "We want to see if we can compete with the best of the best in Minnesota. Every time we play tough competition and every time we are in a tight game, it will provide us with that much more experience in preparation for the provincial championships in April"

Their first game is against Alexandria on Friday evening. Saturday morning is against #6 North Wright County and Saturday evening is against the host Centennial team. Semi-finals and finals are slated for Sunday.
