Queens Teams Finding Stiff Competition at Santa Claus Showdown

THUNDER BAY, ON — On day two of the Elks Santa Claus Showdown, Jenna Jackson would score twice for the Bantam A Queens against the Elks 82s Peewee AA but ultimately lose 3-2. The Peewee Queens wouldn’t fair any better with a 5-1 loss to the North Selects, Bridget Cameron scoring the lone goal for her side. The Peewees came close in their second game of the day against the Westfort Rangers Peewee A when Avery Olenik scored late in the third period but ultimately fall 2-1 to the Rangers.

The Peewee Queens will take on the Angry Elks team Sunday morning at 9:30 in a Consolation Game while the Bantam A Queens take on the Westfort Rangers in the Consolation Championship at 1:15pm.
