Gridlink Midget A Queens Travel to Chicago
THUNDER BAY, ON — On Friday the Gridlink Midget A Queens will be on the road to Chicago for the Winter Classic Showcase. 16 teams have registered in the U19 division from Illinois, Michigan, Nebraska and Utah as well as Ontario.
The Midget As will kick off the showcase at 2:00pm on Saturday against the K-Stars out of Kalkaska, Michigan and then play again that evening at 8:10pm versus the U19 Utah Lady Grizzlies. Sunday’s Quarter-Finals matchups will depend on Saturday’s results. The Semi-Finals and Medal games take place on Monday.
