Peewee Queens have Rough Start at Robin's

THUNDER BAY, ON — The Peewee Queens are competing in Port Arthur Minor’s Annual Robin’s Tournament in the Peewee AA division.

Thursday night, the Queens started the tournament against the Westfort Rangers and got off to a good start taking a 2-1 lead in the first off of goals from Bridget Cameron (assisted by Alexis Prepp) and Kingston Golding (assisted by Brooklyn Voortman) but the Rangers came back with three unanswered goals in the second which they’d sit on, handing the Queens a 4-2 loss.

Friday morning, more bad news as the Queens dropped a 5-0 decision to the Kenora Thistles.

Saturday, the Queens will have a chance to get back into playoff contention on Saturday as they take on the Elks 82s at 1:00pm and then the KC Sabres at 5:45pm.
