The Thunder Bay U18 AA Sportop Queens are in Winnipeg this weekend for a four game exhibition set against the Manitoba U18AAA Female Hockey League.

Friday night the Queens would face the Central Plains Capitals. Bridget Cameron would open the scoring with a skillful redirect  off a  Taylee Marks point shot. Emma Firth would add the other assist on the play. Avery Olenik would close out the first period scoring by taking a nice neutral zone cross ice feed from Olivia Brassard and finishing off a rush by beating the goaltender with a quick wrap around.  Katie Lacosse added an assist on the goal.

Addison Chown would bang home an Emma Firth rebound to make it 3-0 early in the second. Finally, Brooklyn Voortman would close out the scoring in the 4-0 final  with a nifty backhand wrap around with Katy Lacosse picking up her second assist of the night on the goal.
